EastvaleResidents.com Turns One Year!
Written by Mike Nava

EastvaleResidents.com officially opened our virtual doors April 27th, 2007. To date we have had 1345 people have signed up for our forum in our first year. Here are some other interesting forum numbers from our first 365 days:

Average time on site per person: 14.5 minutes
Average members logging in each day: 132
Total Topics Created: 4549
Total Current Members: 808
Most users (neighbors) ever online at the same time:  105 on April 1, 2008. (They must have been all looking for an April Fool’s joke, which there were none, but we thought of a few doozies)
Average Posts Per day: 71
Average Topics per day: 11
Most popular thread ever: “What’s the name of your High School” with 196 replies.
Site that referrers more people to the site: eastvaleedition.com

We have launched many improvements since day 1 including: the ever-popular Thanks Button, 4,000+ games in the arcade, User profiles, Crime Database, New front home site, Business Review Section and many other tweaks to make it a better experience.

I think the forums have served our community well over the last year. Friendships have been made, lost pets have been returned to their owners, goods and services have been exchanged, local businesses have prospered, schools and community events have benefited from the increased exposure and most of all, we have all made our community richer by communicating with each other.

The site will continue to improve technically, of course but I always eagerly await new neighbors who stumble on the site or are told by a neighbor. It is this, this human element that improves our site each day with each new neighbor coming on board.

If you are a resdient in Eastvale and not a member of the forums, please click here to join, you are missing all the fun!

Cheers to Eastvale!

Mike. I appreciate this site so much. I visit a few times a week and always learn something about my neighborhood and neighbors. You make it fun, light reading and a safe environment in which to spend my time.
