Where is Eastvale?
Eastvale is located in the northwest corner of Riverside County in Southern California. According to the General Plan of the Riverside County Integrated Project (RCIP), the boundaries of Eastvale are Bellgrave to the North, Wineville on the East, the Santa Ana River on the South, and Hellman on the West, which is also the border between San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Is Eastvale a City?
No, we are an unincorporated area of Riverside County.  That means we do not have a mayor or city council or other local city services like a police or fire department.

I thought this was Corona?
I thought this was Mira Loma?
I thought this was Corona Valley?
Areas West of Hamner have a Corona address with a 92880 zip code, and areas East of Hamner have a Mira Loma address with a 91752 zip code. This has nothing to do with city boundaries or services, but just which post offices the County was able to get to serve this area. Corona Valley is the name of one of the first developments in the community and some of the builders and Realtors latched on to the name for marketing the area.

Where do the city services come from if Eastvale is not a city?
Riverside County is where public services would be served from. The Riverside County Board of Supervisors oversees the unincorporated areas of the County which is divided into 5 districts. Eastvale is located within the 2nd District area overseen by Supervisor John Tavaglione.

Will Eastvale become its own city?
There is currently an effort to incorporate Eastvale into its own city. In early 2007, interested residents gathered and elected the first Board of the Eastvale Incorporation Committee.

Why is it called Eastvale?
Over the past 4 years, we have written to local historians to find out any clues to the origins of the name but have not had much success. There is no easily accessible history on the name Eastvale, although this area has been called that for over 100 years. When the County of Riverside was being established in 1897, Eastvale School District was listed among the school districts within the County. It is our speculation only, that perhaps this area was the “East Valley” of San Bernardino County before it was annexed into Riverside County.

What school district are the schools in?
Eastvale is served by the Corona-Norco Unified School District. There are currently 6 public schools located in Eastvale, with more being built to meet the demands of the community’s growth.
