In cooperation with JCSD Eastvale Parks & Recreation, the Eastvale Community Events Committee is proud to present the 4th Annual Eastvale Picnic in the Park!
Due to the popularity of this event, we have expanded the Picnic to three days worth of fun and entertainment! New attractions to this year’s event will include a Concert in the Park sponsored by JCSD Eastvale Parks & Recreation and carnival rides and games hosted by ERHS Climate Boosters (pre-sale tickets available).
Picnic in the Park is located at Harada Heritage Park, 13100 65th Street in Eastvale. All three days will feature the ERHS Carnival and 40 different vendor booths with an assortment of products & services to share with you. Lots of different food vendors will serve meals to appeal to all appetites, along with cotton candy, snow cones, ice cream & other yummy delights!!
The dates and times for the Picnic in the Park are:
The first meeting of the newly formed Eastvale Business Networking Group will be meeting on Tuesday April 1st at 7:00 PM. The Eastvale Business Networking group is comprised of local Eastvale businesses, both resident owned and those with storefronts in Eastvale. It is a great opportunity to meet fellow business owners, exchange ideas and expand your knowledge with regular presentations and talks from fellow business owners.
The first meeting presentation will be on marketing your business and will be presented by Lydia Kray and Michele Nissen. The meetings will be held every other month and will be on the first Tuesday at the Homecoming Apts near the corner of Bellegrave & Hamner in the conference room at 7pm.
For more information, please RSVP to Lydia Kray at 951-733-1058
The ERHS Track and Field Booster Club would like to thank everyone for their support with the Mustang Marketplace! We have received a big response from the community and we are so grateful for all of the support! The Marketplace is run solely by volunteers and its purpose is to help fundraise for the Track & Field athletes. All the money that is collected for vendor space at the Marketplace goes directly to the booster fund to be used for things such as fees for weekend Invitational’s for the kids, much needed equipment, banquet costs and scholarships. Together with the efforts of the community we are able to provide everything that is needed to insure that each child can excel.
Thank you to the vendors who support the Marketplace and a great big thank you to the community members who bring out their families to enjoy the day! It truly is a great place to shop, eat and connect with the community! Our next Marketplace Date is Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 8am – 3 pm. The ERHS Jazz Ensemble will play from 9 am – 11am and “Movin 93.9” will be back out playing from 11 am – 1 pm! Eastvale Residents.com will have the Easter Bunny available from 8 am – 11:30! We will have an Easter egg coloring contest with 3 winners selected at 10 am & 12 pm & 2 pm! Winners receive a candy filled Easter basket! Roasted corn, funnel cake, fresh flowers, fresh produce, face painting, pony rides, moon bouncers, great food and over 50 vendors!
On a different note: The ERHS Track & Field team held their first home meet of the season! Congratulations to our Mustangs for a great win against
Riverside’s
ArlingtonHigh School! The Track stadium was buzzing with lots of athletes and exciting races! It was great to see all the Mustang supporters out there supporting the kids! If you’re interested in Track and Field come on out and support our Mustangs! All of our Track meets are always held on Thursdays at 3:15 pm in the
Roosevelt Stadium. Future home meets are March 20th against
CoronaHigh School and March 27th against
CentennialHigh School. Go Mustangs!!!
On Feb 27th we will celebrate our 1 year anniversary of Bingo at ERHS. We average about 150 people, we have a capacity of 225, however, over 80% of our players come from outside of the Eastvale/Norco/Corona area. Since 100% of the profit goes back to support the kids at ERHS, we would certainly like to see more support from Eastvale.
