A forum for Eastvale related news?

We may leave that for general. I am not sure yet but am open. I like the idea though. It is hard to balance having too many forums, because I don't want people to be confused as to where they post stuff. News is too general of a topic, but I see your point.

i'm not in favor of even allowing cut & paste of articles because it's not legal based on copyright and intellectual property laws. It may not seem like a big deal to everyone else, but since it's my household tied to this board, i don't want anything coming to bite us in the butt. There are some evil people out there who will do anything to try to get people in trouble sometimes -- i have encountered them more than once already (here in Eastvale) and definitely know to mind my p's & q's.

Even if they were to post a link that would probably be ok as well and it wouldn't make anyone liable for copyright laws.

yes, a link is perfectly fine and i think these kinds of things would probably fall in the general discussions forum.

Yes, I agree with the copyright liability issue. I like your RSS feed even better, the news are always up-to-date. Thanks for including it.

For my two cents, I agree with having too many forums, especially if too many people are use to the yahoo group.:confused:
