Site Movies!

I made some movies. More for the new people that come on board, but I will keep these here for reference. When new members sign up, they will get their welcome PM with a link to these movies. Hopefully it will help them get up to speed.

These links are open and public, so feel free to send them to people who are interested in the site as well!!

I will add to these movies with more advanced features.

don't forget the one about adding pictures in posts. Actually, that one would be a good "did you know" hint at the top of the page when people sign on.

New peeps need to know that one of the biggest benefits of using a BB rather than any one of those listserv email groups is that you can put a picture in your post of your lost pet, the table you're selling, the pool that a builder you are recommending built..:thumbup:

Mike, you have Claudine's thread about hysterectomies ignored! I guess she was right when she noted that she had lost all the guys when she mentioned bleeding.

You might want to archive it though. You have a wife and may need it later. (Though I hope not!)

ok. Thanks. I am re-uploading most of the movies with a control bar so you can stop/rewind, pause, etc. I missed that step in the compiling!

I do not have to re-create them but just re-compile them and upload again.

I re-did the intro movie. There is a tip in their that is found nowhere else on the site. It pertains to your user profile. It has been a hush hush thing until now.

Hi Erin, it uses flash, so your flash plugin might be the issue. Try downloading and installing the newest one at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Watching the movies I made is by far the fastest way to learn your way around here.

Because of our update, I will be creating more site movies later this month or next month and probably deleting this thread because it contains mostly old data now. But, if you are new, you can probably get something out of them anyway.
