I would like to announce our first in a series of live, interactive webinars for EastvaleResidents.com! This gives our members an opportunity to give feedback, go over features, and get tips and tricks never before documented about our site, its uses and features!
We’ll cover things like:
*E-mail subscriptions. Getting emails of posts delivered to your e-mail box
*Cool Arcade Tricks
*Navigating the site better and more effectively.
*Using your profile
*Finding other members on the site.
*Understanding our Site Stat’s
*Entering Referral Contests or just getting credit for a referral.
*Posting Pictures and images and videos!
Much More.

How does it work?
I am using GoToMeeting (https://www.gotomeeting.com/entry/entry.tmpl?_sid=81470905%3A26E600A68AACEAB&Action=rgoto&_sf=1)service. Basically, here are the steps.
1. Click on a link. (A link will be provided before the event or PM’s to those interested).
2. Enter a meeting number
3. Dial a phone number for the conference call and enter the meeting number when prompted
That’s it!
Your desktop becomes the presenters desktop. Sit back, watch your screen and listen to the presenter….which will be ….. me. There will be a limit to 15 people on at a time. You can ask questions and give feedback in real time.
Why is this taking place?
Well, to get members more familiar with the site and show users how to use it more effectively. It seems whenever I go out and talk to people or sit with members, they have questions that I think can benefit others, so why not get a small group together, live, and see what else can be taught, learned, and experienced.
Do I have to talk?
No. just call the number, sit back and listen if you want.
What does it cost?
It only costs you a fee for your phone call. Stay on as long as you wish. I will try to keep sessions about 30 minutes or less.
Do I have to call? Or can I log in and just watch?
You do not have to make the phone call, but to hear audio, you must. Being it is limited to 10 attendees only, for now, I would like everyone to call because space is limited. Plus, you will not know what’s going on.
Do I have to install software? Is it safe?
At the onset of the meeting, a small plug-in will be installed to allow desktop sharing. It is safe and certified spyware free. Here is their site to get more info. http://www.citrixonline.com/ (http://www.citrixonline.com/)
How often are the Webinars?
I would like a morning one and an evening one, at least a few times a week. It is a monthly fee, so as many as possible I guess. I will announce a schedule. Stay tuned to this thread for updates!
