I was just about to title this "Bring back the smilies, when I see them here. I just replied to another thread and there were no smilies available. what's up with that? a glitch?

At the bottom of each thread is a quick reply which is basic, click on the "go advanced" and they are all there.

No. This is different. I realized its in the business listings. For some reason there are no smilies in the posts there.

It's a text only forum, that's why. The forum is strictly for business listings that are supposed to be contact info only. The threads are immediately closed, and have no discussions so those features are disabled.

The marketplace forum listings is temporary until Mike can get a real listingand ratings system going. I think that will be cool to have.:cool:

Are there just the 11 smilies available? While those are cool and all......if we have the capability to add more, I would be happy to supply some of my favorites! :D Just let me know.

I point to them at other sites. I find a smiley or image i like,

1-Right Click on it,
2-select Properties (call these two steps RCP for short)
a properties box will open up.
3-Copy the Address/URL
4-Then back on this site, click on this picture: http://www.eastvaleresidents.com/boards/aquateen/editor/insertimage.gif and paste the address/URL into your message.
OR
4- type [ IMG] (no space) then the image URL, then close it up with [ /IMG] (again, no space)
