Member search

Hey,
I was wondering if you could put a search in the private messages area for a screen name to send a private message? Like a memeber lookup in the recipient box? I hope that didn't sound too confusing. I usually have to search a thread, go to members list or look in my previous messages for the person I want to send a message to. Having it all available in that area would be really helpful.

Done. How is that?

Go to a new PM
Click Search, search for member (copy name)
Press the back on browser, now you are back to your PM
Paste name in the box

The member box also has a lookup. As you type the first three characters, it will display a list.

Is that going to be easy enough for the new non-nerds? For some, the right mouse button has not even been discovered yet. LOL!

And man are you quick! That was like, what, 2 minutes since my last post that you added that? Daaaaaaaaaaang Boy!

I donot know if it is easy enough, but sometimes, they're just gonna have to figure stuff out, you know? I just cannot obsess about certain things. It was a nice idea for the member search, I added it. Maybe I can make a movie and put it in the helpdesk.


Well, I do have 6 computers to fix this weekend, so What the hell I am playing on this board (and even managed to goof off on the Arcade for the first time with my 8 year old), adding features and changing menus?

There is no question to all of us how dedicated you are to this forum. Sometimes you are on so much I wonder if you have a catheter and I.V. so you don't have to leave the computer! LOL!

I don't know how you do it, but I love the new board!! Your baby is running pretty darn smoothly. You should be very proud!
