Default Parks forum?

What about forums for our local parks? Kinda like all the sub-categories we have for the schools? We could then put all discussions of happenings at our parks in their own folder? Whether it be problems, graffitti, events, local gatherings, etc. And maybe on homepage under links....have one for the parks and their locations. Just a thought

Thanks for the suggestion Karie.

I am not in favor of a parks forum. Here are a few reasons.

1. Another place for people to figure out where to post things. Which is more management for us. We move lots of posts that should be where people put them as it is. For example. Crime in a park. ....parks forum or crime? Event at a park... general discussion or parks forum? Dogs pooping in a park....Parks, Pets, or General..? Adds more confusion for posters. Schools have multuiple events, announcements, complaints, etc and that's why we have a schools forum. School forums were your suggestion when I was forming the board and a great suggestion.

2. I do not see many parks issues going on here. General discussion is fine.

3. If someone wanted to ignore a park forum they may be missing out on general information. If they want to ignore a school forum, they would only be missing out on info for that school.

Thanks though!

Well not that you mention parks, when is the Cedar Creek Park (2nd Half) suppose to open? Two Eastvale Edition newsletters ago they said about another month. However, here we are at least 2-3 months later and fences are still up. Would love to see it open being it is less than two blocks from our house. Anyone have news about it? Also if you do how about the water features they are suppose to be adding?
