nullSome of the most common New Year resolutions have to do with improving health and fitness. Many people have the same resolutions year after year - and people all over the world share these goals: "lose weight," "exercise more," "eat better" and such.

But why is it that a great deal of our health resolutions fizzle out after just a month or two? Some say that we're just not dedicated or willing or motivated enough. I disagree.

There are a few things that can ruin most common New Year resolutions, and stacking up these failures takes a toll on our morale and motivation, the very things we need to keep experiencing progress towards those goals!

One key thing that makes many resolutions virtually impossible to achieve is that the goal is too general or vague. Have you ever made a resolution that was really general? Were you able to achieve it?
