I went to HJ's on Friday. The food was ok. But while I was eating I thought to myself, "it's just alright..." nothing spectacular. But it's when I woke up on Saturday that I realized... "it's just alright meant" something ain't right. I was sick ALL day. I don't know if it was food poisoning but I do know that BBQ won't be my first choice for a long time! It's now been over 24 hours and I am finally able to hold food down.

I recently got to try this place and was very surprised by the concept. First off, the service was VERY friendly and helpful. They offered my free samples and showed my step-by-step instructions on how they operate. You choose your size and then YOU get to decide what flavors and how much of each and YOU operate the dispenser. There is also a topping bar where YOU get to put your own toppings on and how much. When all is said and done, they WEIGH your cup and figure out the total. I got a 'small' but it holds A LOT and it came out to be about $4.00. They have low fat, not fat and non-dairy items.

I got a spray tan and loved it. It was just what I needed to be tan instantly. The owner is SUPER nice. I am already going back for another!

This was my FOURTH visit to Carino's and my worst. The first time, all was well. Food - Great; Service - Great Second Time: I can't remember the specifics, but I know I ordered 'Item A' and they brought me 'Item B'. The food was still good but I remember commenting to the waitress that maybe she should write things down! Third Time: all was well. Food - Great; Service - Great Fourth Time: 1. Ordered Italian Nachos and watched them go to another table! Another waitress swiped ours from under our waitress and served them. So now we had to wait for another order to come up 2. Finally the nachos arrive and they appear to be a jalopy of an order. 3. My salad was so OFF on taste. I sent it back after the 2nd bite 4. My friend's paninin's chicken was extremely over cooked. She only ate about half and that was that. 5. There were 2 managers, one male, John and one female, didn't get name. I called John over to complain, I have brought good and bad complaints to him before. But didn't seem to have much of an opinion. Female manager was VERY sympathetic. Offered me another lunch item; I declined. 6. Johnny Carino's came back to haunt BOTH me and my friend about 3 hours later. Sad

I really do like this restaurant and this was the first time I have been there for Lunch vs. Dinner. And odds are I'll try it again. But this time was a BAD time!

I have had a Massage, EXCELLENT, a facial, WONDERFUL and had a wax treatment. The staff is SO friendly and the treatments are so relaxing. Last night I was so relaxed that I locked my keys in the car. Natalie does the facials & waxing. Kim does the massages. Please give them a try. They are so affordable and so geographically close!!

This Mom & Pop shop is a token piece of Norco! The customer service is friendly and the food is EXCELLENT. I highly recommend the Hot Pastrami and/or #1, ham, turkey & roast beef. They have great homemade potato salads, deviled eggs and they just started selling their strawberry shortcake cookies made with sugar cookies, a yummy fruit dip and topped with fresh strawberries. Can you say ADDICTION?? And to top it all off, they Deliver to Eastvale for a small charge! Good food that comes to you??? So good!!! :thumbup:
