Cool Decor - Bar Area - Sushi Bar - Teppan Grill - YUMMY Sushi
Cons:

There weren't any negatives on our first visit. We really liked it
Thought we would try out some Sushi today. My husband is really picky and he loved it. The rolls were interesting and very good. Good asthetics inside. Would be fun for a birthday party on the Teppan Grill, or a date night to sit at the bar, or Sushi Bar. I will probably go back next time just with my hubby! Outside seating for warm nights.

It is brand new. The 1st Sushi/Teppan restaurant in this area
Cons:
The wait for the teppan was too long
I went there for dinner this Saturday night. After sitting down at the Teppan table, we had to wait for 30-35 mintues before the chef begin his work (might be an isolated incident). But then the chef overcooked our meat.
This place is no match against Benihana. This is my 1st time here. But i won't be a returning customer though. Consider how much this restaurant charges there are simply may more alternatives out there (but you will have to drive out a little bit).

We went for take-out about a week ago. Called the order in and went to pick it up. It wasn't ready in the time frame given. While we stood in the doorway (not much room to wait for your food), we were asked to sit by about 6 or 7 different employees. I understand they wanted to help by seating us, but it got a little old telling each of them we were waiting for our food. We paid first (about $100 for 4 people) then stood a little longer. 5 minutes later the lady we paid said, "Didn't you get your food." They forgot to give it to us...anyway, we won't be returning there.
The rolls and sushi had a small quantity of fish on it compared to Oya in Norco. Even with the nearby location benefit, we've already gone back to Oya in the past week and will continue to do the same.
Sorry Zip...

too expensive

We went with our neighbors so there were 8 of us. Which you would expect to take a little longer but it took a long time to have to cook finally come to us, they never brought us our soups or salads, we had to ask for our sushi 3 times, we never got our white rice. We had to ask for refills on our drinks. Then our waiter disappeared. we had to ask the host to get our stuff the waiter forgot and he even kept repeating that he wasn't our waiter and he didn't know where ours was. They are too expensive and bad customer service. We will never go back. We love Wabi Sabi. We will go there when the one opens up by Lowes.

Benihana is so much better. We had to ask the waitress for our white rice. The restaurant seem cramped. My sister and I ordered different cocktails and they tasted exactly the same. We will try the teppan on the other side of the freeway when it opens.

My wife & I decided to try ZIP and seen the prices, but also realized the type of food and thought it was reasonable. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone brought a menu. Then after we ordered the waitress disappeared. When the food arrived mine was cold and had a horrible taste, (like the meat was bad). I asked to speak to the manager and they said she was not there. I asked who was in charge, and they repeated that the manager was not there. I did not eat my food and told the waitress I was not going to pay for something that was served incorrectly and with such a bad taste, then all of a sudden the owner comes to my table and states she does not give refunds for food ordered, doesn't matter if it was served wrong. She stated she has 5 stores and she wouldn't be successful if she wasn't doing something right. We paid, left and advised her we will never be back, and will let others know, she said she did not care.

My wife and went there when they opened and had an awsome experience. The service was great, the sushi chefs were friendly and talkative and the food was excellent. The price you pay is consistant with other sushi establishments and the presentation is good.
We have been back since our first experience and enjoyed it just the same. It's nice to have a good sushi place close by.

Customer services is low, no waiting area

Like other reviewers, the customer service is low. Nobody ever approach to see if anything is needed. It takes half hour for three dishes. The food is mediocre. We will wait for the one by Lowe's. Oka in Riverside at Riverside Plaza is great. Too bad, we have to drive down OC to get good Japanese food.

Very poor service, food was bad, overcharged on bill

It seemed totally disorganized when we were there and the service was terrible. I could see in the kitchen and it appeared one tired and frustrated cook was attempting to train two young kids. They all needed more lessons and a new recipe based on my dinner. The bill was incorrect and we tried unsuccessfully to get anyone's attention to fix it...so finally just told an employee near the sushi bar to tell our waitress the error on the bill was the rest of her tip. Pretty sad place and very disappointing.

I moved to Eastvale about 6 months ago and have dined at Zip no less than 10 times. Each experience has me craving for more. Like most posts, I too have dined at many Sushi restaurants. I have befriended the chefs at Zip and they've have treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. I sit at the sushi bar and the food and service is excellent.

I love zip fushion's sushi. They have great rolls and the quality is excellent. I have, however, been not too satisfied with the wait time on their take out. I have never eaten inside, so I can't comment on that aspect. They seem nice enough though, but time seems to stand still there - haha. Prices are high, but I wouldn't feel comfortable eating raw fish at a discount place!

Uncleanly

My problem with this business and all food/restaurant business is the cleanliness of the people preparing and serving the food to me. I get totally turned off to business when the conditions of their restrooms are unsatisfactory. Now if we don’t have any soap to wash our hands, neither do they.
I told the waitress, “there is no soap in the restroom” she said “oh I know, I was the last one to use the soap and it ran out, I will change it.” Bull Sh*t! It wasn’t even spitting soap. I went back after dinner and it was still empty. I tried to talk my husband into checking out the men’s room and he wanted no part of it. People, the guys making the sushi rolls had no gloves on! Nasty. I’ll never go there again. You can tell a restaurant character by the restrooms. That’s how people get sick from not washing hands. I’m done with Zip.
