If you Ever need any landscape work done, Give Keith Shafer a call. He was AWESOME!!! He will come out and give you a free quote. We had our backyard done and they finished it in 5 days! Everything was perfect! He was very professional and Honest and He is Licensed! He will do exactly what you want and how you want it!!
If we ever need anymore work done, Keith will be the first person that we call

We heard about him from his review on this site. (Thanks Ute).
They are really good. Keith (owner) came out, gave us an estimate and some good advice on our backyard slope. We had him do some curbing work , install a drip irrigation and add some small rocks along the top. (the wood chips didn't cut it in the wind).
They said they's be here at 8am and at 7:55 they pulled up. Professional, quick, and clean. I'd highly reccommend them and I am planning to call them for future work.

We called shafer landscapre after reading reviews on this site. Keith, the owner, came out the same day and gave us a quote on some concrete work. A couple days later work was started and it has turned out great. Keith did a great job and had some great, and helpful, suggestions to make it even better.

I already has sod and concrete in my backyard, but I needed work done on several large planter areas and some bender board added to the large lawn. I called Keith on a Monday, he gave me an estimate on Tues., and the work was done on Saturday. My only request was "no queen palms/tropical design" since I'm sick of that with two prior yards. Keith has some very unique plant suggestions and layout ideas.
Amazing design, and the yard looks awesome. Keith supervised the whole project and the yard was spotless when they finished. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

I contacted three different business for quote to put in a concrete patio and sod in our backyard. Keith was the only one of the three companies quoting who thought out logistically how to complete the design I wanted and brought up issues he would encounter along the way. The other companies never even brought up these issues, which were important (tree needed to be removed, gate would need to be modified, access to gas valve, sprinklers).
He and his crew were on time, kept our backyard tidy and very trust worthy. After working with another construction company in the past, it is nice to deal with a honest business man who isn't trying to snooker someone out of their money and also delivers a quality product at the end of the project.
I would recommend Shafer Landscape to everyone. You won't be disappointed!!!

Within 2 weeks from my initial phone call, our front and back yards have been transformed! Keith was excellent to work with, very personable, and very knowledgeable. He and his crew were here early morning every day working hard. Our yard was fence to fence weeds. It is now a beautiful place to play and relax. We had him put in a patio with walkway around the house to the front, lay new sod front and back, change the sprinklers in the back, install drains, build a block wall, put in a garden with drip lines, and, at the last minute, had him plant the garden for us (we had originally thought we'd do it ourselves). Plus more that I am probably forgetting. I can't believe that in 2 weeks time we now have a beautiful yard to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. I can't wait to get my daughter's sandbox and toys set back up and be able to send her out back to play without worrying about her impaling herself on a dandelion stem. She can now practice riding her scooter and tricycle too.
We had contacted other landscapers. One came out and did a walk through and I never heard from him again. Others wanted $1-2K just to come do the bid. Keith was here the morning after I called him and our bid was in the following morning... for free. If you are thinking of having any work done, I highly recommend calling him.

Highly recommend Keith Shafer for all outdoor landscaping needs. He just completed phase one of our yard to perfection. He was prompt, worked clean and workmanship was high quality. His pricing beat our other estimates and were very fair. Very knowledgable about drainage, plants, materials, etc.

Keith and crew do excellent work, do yourself a favor and at least call him to get a quote for your project. You'll be glad you did. I found Shafer Landscaping on this website, and am so glad I did. Many of the quotes we had were for less work than they did, and were for more money. (Uh Oh, if Keith read this he may have just raised his rates, sorry everyone!!)
8 days, start to finish, and Shafer landscaping poured a sidewalk, built a block wall planter, poured a concrete spa pad, ran underground drainage lines, installed sprinklers, two retaining walls, electric for the spa, laid about 1000sq ft of sod and planted 6 trees and close to 70 plants! They also ran some additional electrical outlets where I needed some and many other small aesthetics related things. I've had several of my neighbors tell me our back yard now looks like something you see in the models when shopping for a new home. I think it looks better! Couldn't be happier, and neither will you.
